About GayTomatoes
Devised by two brothers with a shared goal — to make movie-watching simpler for families and individuals who want to know exactly what they’re getting into before they press play.
Gay Tomatoes was built to give viewers more clarity and choice. Our platform gathers movie and TV data, then applies our own unique rating system.
Our Gay Rating meter highlights how much LGBTQ+ content is present in a movie or show — including any sexual, social, political, or thematic elements that shape the tone or message of the story. Whether that content appears through dialogue, visual material, or underlying themes, our goal is the same: it’s not about judgment, it’s about transparency.
We believe everyone deserves the ability to decide what fits their household, their kids, or their comfort level — without surprises, agendas, or guesswork.
We’re independent, unapologetically honest, and dedicated to giving you a clear view of modern entertainment — one rating at a time.
